WaFoo is pleased to make an announcement that we will be presenting our first two premier performances of "Princess Kaguya" in Staten Island on the dates listed above. This is an original play which WaFoo has been creating for a year, inspired by the oldest Japanese folklore written in 9th or 10th century. The performance includes two actors and two actresses for staged reading along with music by WaFoo. The story is about a baby who was found inside of a bamboo tree by an old couple of bamboo cutter. She was only three inches tall but became an incomparably beautiful young lady  in a few months. Countless men from all over the places came to ask her hand in marriage. With our comical interpretations, the play shows her life, love and the discovery of her true identity.
